Actor Esha Gupta has reassured fans that she is safe in Abu Dhabi amid rising tensions in the Middle East following US and Israeli missile strikes on Iran, while expressing hope to return to India soon.
Taking to Instagram, Esha shared a heartfelt message with her followers:"To everyone checking in and messaging, we are ok, we are safe! Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us. We trust the @modgovae is doing the best in protecting and interception."
She also prayed for those affected and stranded in the region:"Praying for everyone affected, all those stranded, and safety for all above all. Hope to be home soon."
Esha subtly confirmed her location on Saturday by posting a photo of the Abu Dhabi sky with a folded hands emoji.
The update comes amid a sudden escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, which has disrupted air travel, led to airport closures, and forced flight cancellations across key hubs including Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Authorities confirmed that Dubai International Airport (DXB), Dubai World Central Al Maktoum (DWC), and Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) are facing delays and diversions due to temporary airspace closures.
Other Indian celebrities, including actress Sonal Chauhan, have reported being stranded in Dubai and have requested government assistance to return home safely.
