The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 Distance Learning Scholarships, offering fully funded opportunities for Pakistani students to pursue part-time master's degrees from the prestigious University of Edinburgh without leaving home.
Funded in collaboration with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the initiative targets eligible candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries. These scholarships cover full tuition fees and allow students to complete their studies entirely online, offering the flexibility to learn while managing personal or professional responsibilities.
Pakistani students, along with applicants from other qualifying countries, are encouraged to apply for programmes in Clinical Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Microbiology, Paediatric Emergency Medicine, Data Science for Health, Epidemiology, Public Health, Digital Education, and Surgical Sciences.
To qualify, applicants must be permanent residents of an eligible Commonwealth country, hold at least an upper second-class undergraduate degree or possess relevant work experience, and provide proof of financial need. An academic or professional reference is also required as part of the application process.
The deadline to apply is May 20, 2025, and all applications must be submitted online.
