The third and last T20 International (T20I) between Pakistan and South Africa will be played at Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium at 8:00 PM tonight, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Today’s match will decide the winner of the T20 series as South Africa comprehensively beat Pakistan in the first match played at Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, while the second one played at the Qaddafi Stadium was comfortably won by Pakistan.
South Africa won the first T20I in Rawalpindi by 55 runs.
George Linde's all-round exploits orchestrated the win after Reeza Hendricks 40-ball 60 at the top of the order.
Pakistan came back strongly in the second T20I in Lahore, emerging victorious by nine wickets.
Pakistani pacers, led by Salman Mirza and Faheem Ashraf, ripped through Proteas batting lineup.
Chasing a modest 111-run target, Pakistan raced to victory in just 13.1 overs, thanks to a blistering 71 not out off 38 balls from Saim Ayub, who hammered six fours and five sixes.
He was well supported by Babar Azam, who remained unbeaten on 11 and became the highest run-scorer in T20Is, surpassing India’s Rohit Sharma with 4,231 runs in 159 matches.
