Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz said on Wednesday that those who said that they worked silently did nothing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Nawaz Sharif Cardiology Hospital in Murree, she said that she and her ministers did not sit silently in their offices when the province had been hit by the worst floods in its history.

She vowed to make Murree one of the world’s best tourist spots in only two years. “The people of Murree will no longer need to go outside their city for treatment as a 100-bed hospital is going to be built at Kotli Sattian,” she said, adding, “Murree is no longer governed from Rawalpindi since the offices of all government departments are now situated in the city.”

Maryam further said that all illegal structures built in the city had been demolished.

“The cardiology hospital built in Murree will also benefit the people of Galyat,” she said, adding that the road infrastructure in the city had been improved.

She, on the occasion, also announced linking Murree to Rawalpindi via train besides launching a mega water project in the city.

The chief minister claimed that the difference was visible when one entered Punjab from KP.

She went on to say that if the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif had any other home after Lahore, it was Murree.
