The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Tuesday notified 84 paisas per unit increase in electricity tariff under monthly fuel price adjustment for power consumers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the notification, the raise in electricity price will be for the month of July which will generate Rs12 billion revenue.
The additional fuel cost of Rs12 billion will be charged from consumers in the coming billing month. The increase is not applicable to K-Electric and lifeline consumers using less than 50 units of other Discos.
