Orphan girl axed to death over land dispute in Renala Khurd

An orphan girl was axed to death over a land dispute in Renala Khurd, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 

The incident took place in Mouza Jabuka area under the jurisdiction of Police Station Satgarah. The girl was later identified as Sidra.

Police registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of the girl’s uncle against three persons, including her grandfather, Sarwar.

During initial investigation, police tried to determine whether the girl was killed for honour or over a land dispute.

It is necessary to mention here that Sidra was the owner of 22 shops and 14 acres of agricultural land. The police is investigating the case, keeping in view all angles.

The police said that all the accused will be apprehended soon.

Woman shot dead by nephew in Attock

A nephew opened fire on his aunt, after which she breathed her last due to a land dispute in Attock.

The incident occurred in the tehsil Jand of Attock in the jurisdiction of Anjara Police Station.

Soon after the incident, a police team reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the woman to the hospital for autopsy.

Police cordoned off the entire area to arrest the culprits.
