As many as 33 universities from across the country, including 9 universities from Lahore, have been included in the Global University Ranking 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
In the Pakistani ranking, COMSAT University Islamabad ranked first, Quaid-e-Azam University ranked second while University of Lahore ranked third and UMT ranked fourth.
Further, NUST ranked fifth, University of Agriculture Faisalabad ranked sixth, Islamia University of Bahawalpur ranked seventh and Aga Khan University ranked eighth.
Moreover, Punjab University ranked ninth, Bahauddin Zikaria University ranked tenth, GC Faisalabad ranked eleventh and Abdul Wali Khan University ranked twelfth.
Similarly, Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology ranked thirteenth, International Islamic University ranked fourteenth, University of Central Punjab ranked fifteenth and University of Peshawar ranked sixteenth.
GCU Lahore ranked seventeenth, Air University Islamabad ranked eighteenth, Hazara University ranked nineteenth and LUMS ranked twentieth.
UET Lahore ranked twenty-first, University of Gujarat ranked twenty-second, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences ranked 23rd, University of Sargodha ranked 23th, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences ranked 25th, UET Taxila ranked 26th, Bahria University ranked 27th, University of Malakand ranked 28th, University of Karachi ranked 29th, Aard Agriculture University ranked 30th, Dow University of Health Sciences ranked 31st, GIK Institute of Engineering Science and Technology ranked 32nd and Kohat University of Science and Technology ranked 33rd.
