No family member or lawyer was allowed to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on the scheduled day of meetings on Tuesday, while his wife Bushra Bibi’s family was also denied access.
According to details, Khan’s three sisters — Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi — left for Adiala Jail to meet the PTI founder.
However, the family members were not allowed to meet him.
PTI founder’s spokesperson Niazullah Niazi also reached Adiala Jail, but police stopped him at the Dahgal checkpoint.
The PTI founder’s lawyers, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, Ali Zaman and Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, also reached the jail to meet their client.
Police stopped the PTI leaders at the Factory checkpoint, preventing them from reaching the jail.
Bushra Bibi’s family members were also not allowed to meet her at Adiala Jail.
