Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister of Egypt Badr Abdelatty last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
During the conversation, the Egyptian Foreign Minister thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm hospitality extended during the recent four foreign ministers' meeting in Islamabad.
He also appreciated the Pakistan-China five-point initiative aimed at promoting dialogue and resolving the conflict.
Both the leaders reaffirmed the close fraternal ties between Pakistan and Egypt, and agreed to remain closely engaged.
