Two young brothers drowned while bathing in a pond in Narang Mandi in Sheikhupura district, 24NewsHDTV Channel reported on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, the incident took place in the Kala Khatai area.
The source said that the children were bathing in a pond made of rainwater near their house. They suddenly fell into deep water while bathing. The deceased were 8 and 9 years old. The residents of the area pulled the children out of the water, but they could not survive.
There was chaos when the bodies of the two brothers reached the house.
