Former Pakistan cricket captain Younis Khan has launched the Younis Khan Cricket Academy at KHA Legend Arena, with the aim of helping young players develop their skills and strengthen the future of cricket in the country, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Speaking at the launch, Younis Khan said Pakistan possessed an abundance of cricketing talent and that greater efforts were needed to identify and nurture young players from an early stage.
He stressed that the long-term success of Pakistan cricket depended on strong grassroots development, adding that providing aspiring cricketers with quality coaching and modern training facilities would help produce the next generation of international players.
The academy is expected to provide structured coaching and create opportunities for promising young cricketers to improve their game under professional guidance.
