Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa met with Bahraini Ambassador Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Abdul Qadeer at CDA Headquarters Tuesday to discuss matters of mutual interest and ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides reiterated their commitment to strengthening relations between Pakistan and Bahrain. Muhammad Ali Randhawa described Bahrain as a “brotherly country” and expressed Pakistan’s respect and goodwill toward it.
The Bahraini Ambassador praised the CDA’s initiatives for the beautification and development of Islamabad, calling the city “exceptionally green and one of the most beautiful capitals.”
The meeting also explored the possibility of relocating embassies and diplomatic missions to the Diplomatic Enclave.
Chairman Randhawa assured that the CDA is ready to provide full assistance in shifting missions and highlighted ongoing projects to enhance the enclave’s beauty, including landscaping, horticulture, and the expansion of recreational and sports facilities.
Both officials emphasized their determination to continue collaborative efforts to make Islamabad a more attractive, sustainable, and globally admired capital city.
