The Pakistan and Bangladesh Women’s U19 cricket teams are set to begin their T20I series tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Cox’s Bazar Cricket Academy Ground, Bangladesh, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
The series trophy was unveiled in the presence of both teams’ captains, Iman Nasir of Pakistan and Sadia Islam of Bangladesh, marking the official start of the tour.
All five T20I matches of the series will be played at the Cox’s Bazar ground, and the remaining four matches will be played on December 5, 7, 9, and 12.
These will be live-streamed on the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s YouTube channel, allowing fans to follow the action in real time.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistani captain Iman Nasir said the squad is well-balanced, with a strong combination of pacers and spinners, and expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming series.
She added that captaining the side is a challenge, but the support of her teammates and team management has been invaluable in preparing for the competition.
