Six bidders have submitted applications for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Multan Sultan, as the auction process enters the technical evaluation stage, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the technical assessment of all six interested bidders is currently underway.
The deadline for submitting applications for the Multan franchise was February 2.
The PCB had announced the auction process through an advertisement published on January 14, inviting interested parties to apply for ownership of the Multan PSL franchise.
The Multan Sultan is among the key teams in the PSL, Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament, and the completion of the evaluation process will determine which bidders qualify for the next phase of the auction.
The PCB said further details regarding the bidding process would be shared after the technical evaluation is concluded.
