Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has said that Pakistan Rangers made huge contribution along with Pakistan Army during operation Bunyanal-Marsoos when India resorted to aggression in May 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Addressing the passing out parade ceremony at the Sindh Rangers Training Center and School in Karachi, the Interior Minister said that the Rangers kept an eye on every movement of the enemy and thwarted their objectives.
Addressing the cadets, Interior Minister also commended the services of the Rangers for maintaining peace in Karachi. He lauded the sacrifices of the Rangers against external and internal threats and also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Sindh Rangers.
Naqvi thanked offered thanks to the efforts of the Sindh Rangers for restoring peace in Karachi as the situation in Karachi today is different from the past.
He said Sindh Rangers was known for their professional skills. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the cadets who completed the training. Interior Minister said Sindh Rangers were working with police to eliminate dacoits in Kachha areas of Sindh.
The interior minister noted that the Rangers, in cooperation with Sindh Police, were instrumental in eliminating criminal dens in the Katcha belt, significantly improving law and order across the province. “It is due to the continuous efforts of Pakistan Rangers Sindh that today Karachi stands transformed,” he said, adding that commercial and industrial activity had revived and the city had once again become an international centre for trade and culture.
Referring to regional security, Naqvi highlighted Pakistan Rangers Sindh’s participation in the May 2025 operations against Indian aggression at Bunyanal Marsoos, where the force worked alongside the Pakistan Army and played a highly significant role on international borders.
To the graduating cadets, Naqvi emphasized that the passing-out ceremony was not the end of their journey but the beginning of their responsibilities. “I am confident that with your spirit, professionalism, courage, and bravery, you will always live up to the trust of the nation,” he said. The interior minister concluded with prayers for the success and safety of the newly inducted soldiers, wishing a secure and promising future for them, their families, and Pakistan. “Pakistan Rangers Zindabad — Pakistan Paindabad,” he added.
