The behind-the-scenes video shows the 61-year-old Oscar winner preparing tacos alongside his F1 co-stars Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, and director Joseph Kosinski.
He is seen slicing meat from a traditional vertical spit, known as a trompo, before hilariously knocking it over mid-cut. Ever the professional, Pitt quickly laughed it off, reset the spit with help from the team, and said, “I got to redeem myself,” before returning to slicing tacos – a moment fans found as irresistible as it was unexpected.
“Brad Pitt and tacos… what more can we ask for?” one fan wrote online. Another joked, “I didn’t know Brad Pitt could be more perfect, until I saw him eating tacos.”
Even Warner Bros. chimed in on the fun, posting, “Can we get 5 to go (and the taco boy too)?”
The lighthearted culinary moment comes amid a busy time for the Fight Club star, who’s currently promoting F1, a highly anticipated action film made in collaboration with Formula One’s governing body, FIA, and produced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a veteran race car driver facing off against rookie rival Joshua Pearce (played by Idris) across global Grand Prix circuits.
Pitt's viral moment follows recent headlines about a burglary at his Los Angeles home. Reports confirmed the actor was not home at the time, and authorities have not confirmed whether it was a targeted break-in.
