A youth gunned down his mother in Badaber area of Peshawar after getting furious over her piece of advice to stay away from the company of bad boys in his circle, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to police, the tragic event unfolded when Asma Bibi advised her son, Habibullah, to distance himself from bad reputed people. Enraged by the admonition, Habibullah locked his mother in a room and opened fire on her.
Asma Bibi sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital, but she succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital. Police have launched a search operation to arrest Habibullah, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
