During her appearance on the television show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir, Namra candidly discussed the highs and lows that arrived almost simultaneously in her life.
Speaking about the defining moment of her journey, Namra stated: “Meri Zindagi ka turning point itna bara turning point ky ab sari dunya dekh rahi hai ky mery 2 projects ‘Muamma’ and ‘Ek aur Pakeezah’ is tarha sy hit howy aur usky foran baad meri walida ka intekal hogya. Mein smajhti hoon ky is sy bara koi turning point kisi ki life mein aa bhi nahi sakta jo mery saath howa hai lekin mein phir bhi kehti hu Alhamdulilah. Kyun ky jo hona hai wo hona hi hai aur apko is ky saath hi deal karna hai. Aap ko jab kuch mily ga tou kuch lia bhi jaye ga.” (The biggest turning point of my life was such a significant one that the whole world can see it now. My two projects, ‘Muamma’ and ‘Ek Aur Pakeezah’, became major hits, and immediately afterward, my mother passed away. I believe there can hardly be a bigger turning point in anyone’s life than what I experienced. Yet, I still say Alhamdulillah. Because whatever is destined to happen will happen, and you have to learn to deal with it. Whenever life gives you something, it also takes something away in return).
