Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited National Police Academy and reviewed progress on upgradation project, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi also chaired a meeting and reviewed the progress on ongoing projects related to the upgradation of the National Police Academy.
The meeting was briefed that work on National Police Academy Upgradation Project is in full swing and 80 percent work on rappelling tower and 70 percent work on jogging track and obstacles has been completed at Elite Training School.
Mohsin Naqvi gave task to complete the firing range and boundary wall of the Elite School in two months.
The meeting decided to shift the National Police Academy to solar energy in phases.
The meeting also gave approval of the revision of the MCMC course.
Mohsin Naqvi instructed to equip all classrooms with modern IT facilities.
DG FIA, Chairman CDA, IG Islamabad Police, Deputy Commandant National Police Academy, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
