Major progress in the investigation of 18 corruption cases of the Usman Buzdar government as the Punjab Assembly Public Accounts Committee has sent cases to Anti-Corruption for reference, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The Public Accounts Committee-III also sought help from the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team to investigate financial corruption.
It also sought necessary records from other departments, including the Health Department, to investigate corruption during the Buzdar government.
The Public Accounts Committee has so far recovered more than Rs 1.50 billion.
