The Punjab government is considering a proposal and also recommended allocating Rs700 billion for the establishment of the Punjab Wealth Fund to provide financial security to the youth, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Sources said that the Punjab government will finalize a long-term project with the help of provincial surplus.
A new framework will be created for economic stability and sustainable growth in income. The fund will pave the way to increase provincial revenue.
The provincial government will also generate more income through a long-term programme. In case of any emergency, this fund will be used as a backup.
