A woman with the help of her daughter brutally killed her husband by attacking him repeatedly with clubs in Arifwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in village 68EB in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station.
Police sources said that the husband of woman refused to give money to his wife which he obtained after selling a goat.
Police registered a first information report (FIR) against Amna Bibi, her daughter Gulshan Bibi and son Ibrar on behalf of Noor Mohammad.
Earlier in April 2025, an influential personality raped a woman who was working as a domestic worker in his home in Arifwala.
The incident took place in village 165EB of Arifwala. The victim filed an application in Saddar Police Station for registration of case.
In her application, the woman stated that the man summoned her for domestic work and later raped her.
The woman also filed a separate application for her complete medical check-up but the police failed to file the case.
The victim demanded higher authorities to ensure delivery of justice to her.
