Airblue commenced its Lahore-Baku flight operation as the first flight PA-468 carrying 171 passengers left Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore, for Baku on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
On this occasion, an event was arranged at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, in which the Azerbaijan envoy in Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, Managing Director Airblue Chaudhary Mohammad Aslam, Director of Terminal Kanwar Yasir, Director Sales Mohammad Shafiq, and also prominent personalities participated.
Under the flight schedule, PA-468 will depart Lahore at 10:15 am and arrive in Baku at 12:15 pm local time. The return flight, PA-469, will depart Baku at 1:30 pm and land in Lahore at 7:10 pm.
The introduction of this route is expected to enhance connectivity between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, facilitating travel for both tourists and business passengers.
Baku has increasingly emerged as a popular destination for Pakistani travelers due to its visa accessibility, cultural attractions, and growing tourism infrastructure.
