Four people were killed in different incidents in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Surveyor crushed under grader machine
A surveyor was killed when a grader machine fell on him during construction work at Rawalpindi’s Kutchehri Chowk.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that Muhammad Abu Bakar was rushed to a hospital in a critical condition where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police officials said that the deceased belonged to Chak No 318, tehsil Chobara, district Layyah.
They said that the incident was being further investigated.
Youth killed in Rawalpindi
In yet another incident reported from Rawalpindi, a youth was shot dead during a brawl at People’s Colony.
Police said that 24-year-old Sabeel died on the spot after receiving a bullet in his chest.
The Force said it had launched an investigation after collecting all facts.
Two die in road accident in Rawalpindi
Two people were killed, while one was seriously injured when a speeding Mazda and a car collided with each other near M2 Thalian Interchange, resulting in the deaths of two persons travelling in a car.
The car was completely destroyed in the accident.
The deceased were identified as 27-year-old Faizan and 55-year-old Ashraf, while 45-year-old Fazal Hussain was seriously wounded.
Rescue 1122 staffers said that the bodies as well as the injured were shifted to a hospital.
