The Pakistan women’s cricket team will host Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket Team in a six-match white-ball series starting May 4 at the National Bank Stadium Karachi, 24News HD TV reported on Saturday.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the series includes three ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals, all to be played at the same venue.
The ODIs will be held on May 4, 6, and 9, with matches starting at 3:30 pm local time.
The T20 matches are scheduled for May 12, 14, and 15, beginning at 7:30 pm.
The ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29, where Pakistan is currently placed fifth on the table.
The team has only two points following its recent series against South Africa.
Pakistan will be led by captain Fatima Sana, with newcomer Muneeba Riasat also included in the ODI squad.
The T20 squad will be announced later.
Fatima Sana said playing at home provides a “big advantage” and added that the team has trained hard but needs more consistency in batting.
Zimbabwe batter Nomvelo Sibanda called the tour a “historic moment,” saying her side was excited to play in Pakistan for the first time.
The T20 series will serve as important preparation ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, which begins on June 12.
Pakistan will also take part in a tri-series in Ireland before the World Cup.
All matches will be broadcast live on PTV Sports and Geo Super, with online streaming available on platforms including Tamasha, Myco, and Tapmad.
The PCB YouTube channel will also provide global live coverage, while the commentary panel will feature former players including Salman Butt, Ali Younis, Kainat Imtiaz, and Aiman Anwar.
