Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) flight operation between Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Multan has been fully restored as the airline will operate 65 flights today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to spokesman for the PIA, today some flights have been cancelled too, which were unscheduled.
He added that 735 flights, both domestic and international, were cancelled in the last 16 days due to acute financial crisis.
He further said that the airline’s management was trying its best to resolve its financial and administrative issues.
The flights, which have been cancelled today, are Karachi to Islamabad PK-368 and PK-369, Karachi to Turbat PK-501 and PK-502, Karachi to Quetta PK-310 and PK-311, Karachi to Sukkur PK-536 and PK-537, Karachi to Damam PK-241 and Karachi to Dubai PK-213.
Similarly, Islamabad to Multan PK-681 and PK-682, Islamabad to Sharjah PK-182, Peshawar to Sharjah PK-257 and Peshawar to Dubai PK-284.
