The weather is expected to remain dry in most parts of the country tonight, while cold conditions will persist in hilly and northern regions, according to the Meteorological Department’s forecast for Monday.
In Islamabad and its adjoining areas, the weather will stay dry, with chilly conditions expected during the morning and night hours.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are likely to experience dry weather, though the upper regions including Chitral, Dir, Bajaur, and Kurram may see partly cloudy skies at night, with a chance of light rain at isolated places.
Across Punjab, dry weather will dominate, with cold conditions expected in Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding hill stations during morning and night hours. However, smog and light fog are likely to blanket Lahore, Gujrat, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Okara, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, and Multan, potentially affecting visibility and air quality.
In Sindh, the weather is predicted to remain hot and dry, while Balochistan will see dry conditions in most areas, turning cold in northern districts such as Ziarat during the night and early morning.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will stay cold and dry, with partly cloudy conditions expected at night.
Minimum temperatures recorded today were: Leh at -3°C, Skardu at -1°C, and Ziarat at 0°C, indicating the onset of the winter chill across the northern belt.
