Seven members of a family died when their car fell in a ditch in the Bhara Kahu area of Islamabad on Saturday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Locals said the accident happened early in the morning as the car the family was travelling in slipped in the rain and plunged into the ditch. They said they learned about the accident hours later as it was raining hard.
The family which was belonged to Phulgaran was returning after attending a wedding.
The dead included three sisters, their brother and their mother.
The bodies have been shifted to Polyclinic Hospital.
