Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited PIMS Hospital to inquire after the health of personnel of Islamabad Police and Azad Kashmir Police in Azad Kashmir who had got injured during a clash with protestors in Azad Kashmir, reported 24NewsHDTV channel.
Interior Minister visited each injured policeman one by one and inquired about their recovery. 31 Islamabad Police personnel and 12 Azad Kashmir Police personnel are undergoing treatment at PIMS Hospital. On the occasion Mohsin Naqvi directed the hospital administration to provide the best medical facilities to the injured police officers.
He lauded injured police personnel for their courage and bravery who performed their duties with utmost courage, bravery and valor. Naqvi lauded injured policemen by saying that they acted with patience despite the hostility. “You are a brave son of Pakistan and we are all proud of you”, said Mohsin Naqvi.
Interior Minister directed Chief Commissioner and IG Islamabad to take special care of the jawans of Azad Kashmir Police. Mohsin Naqvi said, “peaceful protest was everyone's right but no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.”He added that a few evil elements were trying to disrupt the peace of Azad Kashmir on the behest of the enemy.
He said the government will never allow their nefarious objectives to succeed. Interior Minister said Pakistani hearts beat with Kashmiris and the government is always ready to solve the problems of Kashmiri brothers.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad, IG Islamabad Police and other officials were also present on the occasion.
