A rival group looted, set fire to, and demolished the house of an overseas Pakistani with a crane over suspicions of involvement in a murder case consultation in Hafizabad.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the incident took place in Asadullahpur, where the assailants targeted a one-kanal house, reducing it to ashes.
According to the FIR filed by the complainant, her husband, who has been residing in Spain for a long time, was falsely accused of being involved in the consultation of a murder case.
She said the suspects looted 20 tolas of gold and one million rupees before setting the house on fire and demolishing it with a crane.
She said the suspects fled the scene, leaving the house in complete ruins.
Hafizabad police have registered the case and launched a search for the suspects.
