Unidentified assailants brutally slit the throats of a local trader and his employee in the Siraj Din area of Kasur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of B Division Police Station, where the jugular veins of both victims were severed, and their heads separated from their bodies in a grisly manner.
One of the deceased has been identified as Khalil, a bakery owner in Kasur. The second victim is believed to be his employee.
According to police, the murder happened two days ago, but the bodies were only discovered after residents noticed a foul smell and informed the authorities.
Upon arrival, the police and crime scene unit found the bakery locked from the outside.
The bodies were shifted to the hospital for autopsy, and a formal investigation has been launched.
Police officials stated they are working to uncover the motive behind the brutal killings.
