CSS 2026 exam schedule unveiled: MPT in November, written test in February

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially released the detailed schedule for the Central Superior Services (CSS) Exams 2026, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.  

The exams will be held in two stages, as per the FPSC announcement. The first phase will have an MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT), followed by a written examination in the second phase.

MPT 

 On Sunday, August 10, 2025, the public notice for MPT applications will be issued.

 From August 11 to August 25, 2025, online applications for the MPT will be accepted.

 On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the MPT exam will be conducted.

Written examination

The application notice will be released on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Candidates will be able to submit their written exam applications from       December 15 to December 30, 2025.

The CSS Written Exam 2026 is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

As an initial guideline, the schedule is being issued and is subject to change if required, as clarified by the FPSC.
