Iran will not enter into any agreement with the United States unless Washington withdraws its demand to completely halt uranium enrichment, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in a clear message to President Donald Trump.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, speaking to reporters, Araghchi said, “If enrichment drops to zero, Iran will have nothing left to negotiate with.”
He further revealed that Iran has reached an agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on a new cooperation mechanism, marking a shift in Tehran’s approach to transparency without compromising its sovereign rights.
Despite global pressure, Araghchi stressed, “Iran still retains full capability to enrich uranium.”
This bold stance comes as diplomatic efforts stall amid demands by the US to eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities, a condition Tehran sees as unreasonable and self-defeating.
