The companies have increased the price of tea leaves as a pack of 900 grams has become expensive by another Rs150, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to new rates, the price of a 900 gram of tea leaves packet has now been hiked from Rs1,650 to Rs1,800.
The rate of a 400 gram packet of tea leaves has been increased by Rs100 to Rs900.
A 380 gram pack of tea leaves price has gone up by Rs30 to Rs380.
