Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Tuesday that in none of the videos could any security personnel be seen firing bullets at the PTI protestors at Islamabad’s D-Chowk on the night between November 26 and 27, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the narrative built by the PTI that its workers were gunned down was completely false. “There is not a single dead body. Had there been any, it would have definitely come to people’s knowledge,” he claimed.
The minister challenged those accusing the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) of firing bullets to give proof to substantiate their claim. “A baseless campaign was run on social media, ‘Goli Kyun Chalai’ (Why bullets were fired).
Tarar said that the country was not financially progressing. “It has already progressed,” he claimed.
