Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians (PTIP) chief Pervez Khan Khattak has stressed that his party will not go for electoral alliance with any party, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
“I always keep my word and continue doing so,” he said while addressing a press conference on Tuesday.
He added: “We won’t make seat adjustments with anyone. Such acts harm democracy. That is why it is impossible to ally with anyone. Our party will give very good results in this province.
Khattak claimed that the development in the KP is the fruit of his efforts.
He continued: “We have our manifesto. We have no fear. Whoever has fear should sit at home. A weak person can’t take this province forward.
The former defence minister said: “Political parties never care about their manifesto after securing victory in the election. We can’t go against your manifesto. Nothing is final in politics. There are principles and compromise is out of the question.”
Regarding the party electoral symbol, he said his lawyer suggested applying for the bat but he refused. He said: “Our electoral symbol is turban. And we are going into the election with it.”
Khatak stressed: “I have good relations with all the parties, I don't want to have conflict with anyone. After the election, concerted efforts will be made to bring prosperity to the province and the country."
He said: “The people of the province know who to vote for and who is the man of action.”
