Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore conducted the hearing of various case related to May 9 to record the statements of the witnesses and later postponed the hearings, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Anti-Terrorism Court Admin Judge Manzar Ali Gul conducted the hearing of cases including Jinnah House, Askari Tower and police van attack cases near Jinnah House and in Mughalpura on May 9 in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
Overall 200 PTI leaders as well as workers were nominated in these four May 9 cases. Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack cases hearing was adjourned till January 19. Four witnesses recorded their statements in Mughalpura police vehicle burning case and later hearing was adjourned till January 5. The hearing of police vehicle burning case near Jinnah House was adjourned till January 8.
During the hearing of the case, the attendance of the accused on bail and in custody was completed.
The accused in custody include PTI leaders Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Omar Sarfraz Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry and Mian Mahmood Rashid, among others. Rana Mudassar Umar and Mian Ali Ammar Advocate appeared on behalf of the accused. The accused in the case include Sanam, Javed, Aaliya Hamza, Tayyaba Raja, Khadija Shah and Rubina Jamil. PTI leaders accused of inciting workers to May 9 uprising and riots.
