At least two people were seriously injured in a gas cylinder blast at a gas refilling shop in Pattoki on Saturday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred due to gas leakage from a cylinder, causing a powerful blast inside the shop.
Both victims sustained severe burn injuries after being caught in the explosion.
Residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Pattoki, using private transport.
Due to the critical condition of both victims, doctors later referred them to Lahore for advanced medical treatment.
Authorities have taken note of the incident, while concerns have been raised over unsafe gas refilling practices operating in the busy localities.
