ANF, National Forensic Science Agency ink MoU for better assistance

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and the National Forensic Science Agency at ANF Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a spokesperson of the ANF, the MoU was signed with the aim of promoting institutional cooperation in counter-narcotics efforts and making forensic assistance more effective.

The Director General ANF welcomed the DG National Forensic Agency and his accompanying delegation.

The MoU was signed by the Director Forensics (Chemical/Biological) from the National Forensic Agency and the Director Enforcement from the ANF. 

Under this agreement, effective mechanisms of mutual communication, exchange of information, transfer of expertise and institutional cooperation will be promoted to further strengthen forensic capabilities in counter-narcotics investigations and cases.

The two organizations reaffirmed their commitment to provide professional assistance and enhance the effectiveness of national counter-narcotics efforts by working together in areas of mutual interest. 

This exercise reflects the shared commitment to strengthen national efforts against drugs and related crimes through inter-agency cooperation.
