Punjab Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Hina Pervaiz has strongly criticized a number of Pakistani social media influencers, urging parents to keep their children away from content creators whom she believes are setting a harmful example for the younger generation.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, Hina Pervaiz shared a post featuring the photos of influencers Rajab Butt, Sami Rasheed, and Ali Hyderabadi, accompanied by a strongly worded message.

The text on the post read:

"These are our social media influencers, whom our public follows blindly. The children who follow them are completely ruining their upbringing. Parents need to think. keep your children away from them."

Although Hina Pervaiz did not elaborate on the specific incidents that prompted her post, her remarks come at a time when several social media influencers have been making headlines over public family disputes, divorce related controversies, and allegations exchanged through videos and social media posts.

In recent weeks, online platforms have witnessed a growing trend of influencers bringing private family matters into the public eye, with personal conflicts often unfolding before millions of viewers. These incidents have sparked wider discussions about online harassment, cyberbullying, privacy, and the impact such content may have on younger audiences.

Hina Pervaiz's comments quickly gained attention online, with social media users expressing mixed reactions. While some agreed that parents should monitor the type of content their children consume, others argued that individuals should be free to choose whom they follow and that responsibility ultimately lies with both content creators and audiences.
