Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Suhail Afridi announced Rs500 million for promotion of tourism in Hazara division and directed concerned authorities to identify new tourist destinations in Kolai-Palas and Alai.
He also reviewed development projects, law and order, governance and service delivery in Hazara Division, the CM said additional funds would also be allocated to further promote tourism.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure top-quality facilities and hospitality for both domestic and foreign tourists, saying visitors play a vital role in projecting a positive image of the province. He ordered a special traffic management plans for tourist destinations and directed authorities to be on high alert during the monsoon season by implementing contingency plans without delay.
The chief minister ordered the formation of a commission to permanently resolve the boundary dispute between Chor Mali Valley and Balej Valley in Kolai-Palas and Battagram.
Emphasizing improved governance, Afridi directed district administrations to strengthen engagement with the public through open forums while involving elected representatives. "Our performance should be measured by public satisfaction, not presentations," he said.
Officials informed the meeting that 139 development projects are currently underway in Hazara Division under the Annual Development Programme. They also said 1,879 out of 2,111 complaints received through the Pakistan Citizen Portal had been resolved, while more than 100 open public forums had been held under the provincial government's open-door policy.
The meeting was further told that land records in Abbottabad and Battagram have been fully digitized, while digitization has reached 97% in Haripur and 90% in Mansehra.
