Station House Officer (SHO) of Lahore’s Defence C Police Station Faryad Ashraf was removed from his post with immediate effect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Police sources revealed that a judge of the Cantt Kutchery filed a complaint against SHO Faryad Ashraf.
The sources further stated that the SHO contacted the judge in connection with the kidnapping of foreign women case.
The judge became annoyed as the SHO contacted him after the duty timings, and later he lodged a complaint against the SHO with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations.
Police sources said that SHO Faryad Ashraf contacted the judge with the permission of a senior police official. The sources said that the SHO was removed to avoid legal action.
