An error has surfaced in the three-month performance report issued by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, where the photograph of a retired judge was mistakenly published in an official condolence reference, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to the details, the mistake occurred in a condolence reference held on February 17, in which the photograph of Justice (Retd) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday was incorrectly included.

However, the condolence reference was actually held for the late Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan, the TV channel reported.

As a result of the oversight, the official document inadvertently carried the wrong identity, leading to the issuance of an incorrect condolence reference featuring Justice (Retd) Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday’s photograph.

According to the media report, Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Khan passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 96.

He was a highly respected jurist who served as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Federal Ombudsman, and Rector of the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
