Residents of Karachi’s Malir and Korangi districts have been gripped by fear as both areas have experienced repeated earthquake tremors over the past two days. In the span of 48 hours, nineteen tremors were recorded in these districts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The affected areas included DHA City, Quaidabad, Malir, Landhi, Sherpao, and surrounding localities. As a result, many citizens spent the night outside under the open sky due to fear.
The latest tremor was felt at 11:34 AM on Tuesday, with the epicenter in the northeast, according to the Seismological Center. The quake measured 2.5 in magnitude at a depth of 30 kilometers.

Late into the night, calls to prayer were heard from mosques in various neighbourhoods. In many areas, residents, out of fear, chose to spend the entire night outside their homes.
