Banks and other financial institutions across Pakistan will remain closed from June 6-9 due to Eid-ul-Azha, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has issued a notification in this regard.
Last week, the federal government announced four holidays for Eid, which will be celebrated on June 7.
A notification was issued by the Cabinet Division, stating that June 6, 7, 8 and 9 will be observed as public holidays on Eid, both for offices observing a five and six days work week.
