FIA books woman officer for performing two govt jobs simultaneously

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against senior woman officer for holding two government jobs at the same time and withdrawing two salaries, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

According to FIR, FIA’s Anti-Corruption Circle Peshawar has named Hajra Sarwar, daughter of Ghulam Sarwar Khan, who is serving as Deputy Director at the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees (CAR), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Investigations showed that Hajara Sarwar was working at the same time for CAR and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) government department. 

She was receiving salaries from both places which is against the rules for government employees. The documents received by the FIA from CAR and the evidence available on the PCB website proved that the accused received financial benefits from both places from 2001 to 2008 and till 2017. 

The woman was violating the Civil Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The accused had fled to the UK before the case was registered.
