Differences between the Afghan Taliban regime and local commanders emerged over the mineral resources of Badakshan, and Amir Hybatullah issued a strict warning to control the situation, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to media reports, a high-level delegation has been constituted that will probe all the assets of angered Taliban commanders and officials.
Media reports further revealed that Mullah Hybatullah issued directives that in case of disobedience, local commanders will be arrested.
The reports said that a special military contingent has been constituted that will take action against persons involved in the revolt.
The Kandahar Group started arresting leaders of angered Taliban leaders. Local commanders Musa Kakay and former mines director Islamuddin were arrested and shifted to an unknown place.
Experts said that these kinds of revolts and campaigns clearly showed that the Taliban regime is losing people’s trust.
