In a bid to connect Karachi with international trade hubs, the federal government decided to establish Karachi Industrial Park in the Special Economic Zone under the Uraan Pakistan initiative, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to details, an amount of Rs7.4 billion will be spent on the establishment of Karachi Industrial Park, which will be constructed on an area of 500 acres.
The project was approved in February 2025. The Special Economic Zone will play a vital role for expediting economic activities in the country.
The project will also generate thousands of new employment opportunities and will speed up industrial growth and investment opportunities.
