Reality TV personality Katie Price has revealed that she is in Dubai and is making efforts through legal channels to secure the release of her partner, Lee Andrews, who remains in custody in the emirate.
Price, 48, shared an update on social media, saying she would be attending court, a police station and prison-related proceedings as part of her efforts. She explained that local regulations required her to dress modestly while visiting official institutions.
"Today is an important day for me," Price told followers in a video posted from Dubai. She said she had received very little sleep but remained focused on the day's developments.
The former glamour model has been one of Andrews' most vocal supporters. Last month, claims circulated that the 43-year-old had been "kidnapped" in Dubai, but it later emerged that he was being held at Al Awir prison.
Price recently travelled from the United Kingdom to Dubai ahead of Andrews' expected release. However, despite reports that he was due to be released on June 1 and later on June 2, it remains unclear whether he has been freed.
According to reports, Andrews is required to pay a four-figure fine before being released, although it has not been confirmed whether the amount has been settled.
In her social media post, Price thanked supporters for their messages and encouragement, writing: "Today is an Important Day for me! Thank you for all your support!"
Meanwhile, activity on Andrews' social media account has fuelled speculation about his status after the account became active again and re-followed Price.
