The federal government notifies transfer and posting in the federal bureaucracy. Director General, President's Office Majid Mohsin Panhwar has been transferred and his services have been handed over to OGRA on deputation initially for one year, while Imran Ali Sultan, a Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 18 posted in the Punjab government, has been transferred and his services have been handed over to OGRA on deputation for one year.
Kainat Azhar Khan, a police service grade 18 posted in the Punjab government, has been transferred and his services have been handed over to the Islamabad Police.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has accepted the resignation of Salman Kazmi, Legal Advisor to Pakistan Railways. Salman Kazmi was serving as a Legal Advisor in the MP-2 scale in Pakistan Railways. His resignation has been declared effective from May 8, 2026.
According to another notification, Joint Secretary Naila Baqir, posted in the Ministry of Housing and Works, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of PHA Foundation. According to the notification, she will perform additional duties along with her existing responsibilities for 3 months or until permanent appointment (whichever is earlier). The Establishment Division has issued official notifications of all orders.
Meanwhile IG Punjab office has issued transfer of 14 police officers. M Saqib Butt has been posted as DSP Security One, Data Darbar Lahore. Tariq Mahmood has been posted as DSP Dolphin Squad Cantt, Lahore. Sajid Ali has been posted as DSP Shakargarh, Narowal. Nasrullah Chatha has been posted as SDPO Sangla Nankana Sahib, Fakhar Zaman has been posted as SDPO Badar Ghar Nankana Sahib, Tariq Jamil has been posted as SDPO Safdarabad Sheikhupura and Sajid Mahmood Sohail has been posted as SDPO Jaranwala Faisalabad.
